Where has 2019 gone?
I can’t quite believe how quickly it’s flown by... almost as fast as the training knife that caught me in the eye last week.
I’d like to begin by extending my gratitude to each and every one of you for the amazing support you have given me with this year and for being such a wonderful part of my life.
I really do wish you all an excellent Christmas filled with love and life. Hopefully, Santa will bring you lots of awesome goodies to enjoy!
Now, let’s reflect on 2019... what a year it’s been!
Your kind donations towards B-SMART’s campaign to help the less fortunate are so gratefully received. I have been absolutely blown away by your selflessness and generosity.
We all know that Christmas is a time of giving and your gifts will certainly help many people who need to use food banks or those who are homeless across Somerset, Wiltshire and Hampshire.
You are all superstars – thank you for the support!
On a personal level, 2019 has been another great year especially for B-SMART Martial Arts. Our new online shop was launched on our website and has proved to be a huge success.
In January, our Westbury school opened its doors and is currently going from strength to strength, just like its students!
We are now proud members of the leading martial arts governing body, the British Martial Arts & Boxing Association (BMABA), who ensure that everything is carried out fairly and to the highest professional standards.
One thing is for sure, 2020 will be the year that we leave the competition even further behind us as we continue to progress with such speed and strength.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I am not the Noel Gallagher of the martial arts world where I am being ridiculously arrogant. No, I just recognise the amazing talent we are developing here in conjunction with our refusal to accept anything less than the best for our wonderful students.
Of course, I am running a business as well as taking pride in the achievements of each and every member. However, building this brand with a focus on integrity, quality, and being great value for money. We don’t aim to have the greatest number of schools and students, rather offering the highest quality lessons, which deliver exactly what we promise we will.
So... ‘What’s next?’ I hear you cry.
Firstly, I am delighted to be training some new coaches in the new year. They will be assisting me during classes to enable them to learn the secret to delivering the B-SMART magic.
Secondly, January will see us starting new classes in Trowbridge, check out the website for further details.
Finally, we have some exciting seminars planned which you can attend, which will further enhance the experience you get here at B-SMART.
For anyone not 100% convinced about choosing to send their child to our school, we are certain that 2020 will confirm that we are the number one school for martial arts and self-protection.
Most definitely exciting times ahead - but for now where’s my glass of wine?
